Intro to Inversions: Headstand
Curious about going upside down? Whether you’re brand new to inversions or already exploring headstand in your practice, this workshop will support you in building strength, confidence, and clarity.
We’ll begin with foundational conditioning and preparatory drills to stabilise the shoulders, core, and neck — essential for a safe and sustainable headstand. Then, we’ll break down the mechanics of traditional Śīrṣāsana (headstand) and explore techniques for safely entering and exiting the pose. For those who are more familiar with being upside down, we’ll also explore tripod headstand, variations, and playful transitions.
This workshop is open to all levels — no prior inversion experience needed and no expectations!
Come with an open mind and a sense of curiosity, and enjoy deepening your practice from the ground up.

In this two-hour workshop, we’ll explore:

• How to use props to support your body
• Simple sequencing you’ll encounter in regular classes
